Makes enough white sauce for a large white pizza or your favorite pasta dish. For white lasagna, you may need to prepare a double batch
Prep Time: 5 minutes
I don’t always want to eat tomato sauce when I make homemade pizza or lasagna. Although these dishes traditionally are prepared with tomato sauce, as I get older I find that consuming too much gives me agida! That is why I developed this delicious, easy-to-prepare white sauce. It is creamy, rich and delicious in any application where you want to try a new twist on an old tomato sauce recipe.
I used this sauce to make a lasagna recently and it was phenominal. Paired with Violife shredded mozzarella, Jovial gluten-free brown rice lasagna noodles and roasted veggies throughout, the layered masterpiece was really a nice departure from the traditional lasagna prepared with tomato sauce.
This white sauce recipe is super easy to prepare. If you have a vegan kitchen, you will most likely have all of the ingredients needed on hand. Leave a comment if you try it! Hope you love it.
