The Omega J8003 is one of the many high-end juicers available on the market. When I was in the market for a juicer, I looked into all of the juicer reviews I could find relating to this product online. This is always a good source for relevant information that can help you come to the right conclusion about which juicer might fit your personal needs the best.
I found Omega juicer to be a powerful commercial juicer that produces a high juice yield from fruits and vegetables with many other functions to help you prepare other kinds of foods as well. In fact, this multi-purpose machine allows you to make natural baby food and peanut butter as well as grind coffee beans and flour and mince herbs and spices. It is a versatile kitchen appliance that can replace many other devices. I was able to eliminate my coffee grinder and food processor when I invested in this machine.
The juicer operates on a 1/3-horsepower single-phase induction motor with a low rotation speed of 80 revolutions per minute. This prevents the machine from clogging, foaming and building up heat. It also helps it chew up plant fibers to extract the enzymes, minerals and vitamins from the fruits and vegetables you use to create your juice products.
The Omega J8003 helps you eliminate pulp with a pulp ejection function that allows continuous juicing and can also create homemade pasta with the pasta nozzles included with the machine. The reverse mode helps keep food from sticking as well. Furthermore, this machine can whip up soy milk and works as a homogenizer. I enjoy the quiet operation, easy cleanup and heavy duty construction, all features that are important to me. I don’t have to wake up the entire house when I use any function of this nutritional center.
Of course, there can be some drawbacks to this juicer. For instance, the chute is fairly small, so you may have to do a lot of chopping with your fruits and vegetables so that they can fit into the machine and not get stuck. You also have to consider whether the price of fruits and vegetables is worth the cost in relation to the amount of juice you get from the machine. Also, you need to watch for special instructions such as not feeding the machine more than a pound of the same kind of fruit or vegetable at a time.
I enjoy so much of the functionality I have found with the Omega J8003. But it is important to note that the machine seems to perform better when juicing leafy green vegetables rather than fruits and vegetables which already have a high water content and vegetables such as carrots. If you are like me and juice mostly leafy greens, this is not an issue – especially with all of the other wonderful functions of this juicer. It is possible to juice high-water-content fruits and veggies, but it may take some careful planning in order to make sure the machine does not back up and functions properly. This is a drawback but not a deal breaker.
When considering this juicer, weigh its functionality with your intended usage of this device. If juicing is not the only task you plan to put the Omega J8003 to work with, it may just be what you are looking for.
