Foods that are as close to their natural state as possible are nutritionally balanced and healthiest for you.
- Weight Control – Weighing too little or too much can lead to health problems. It is common for one to gain weight as we get older but this does not have to be a given. Those of us who are over 45 years old seem to have a harder time keeping off the pounds as our metabolism begins to slow. All hope is not lost, however. You can control your weight by means of eating healthy foods and being active physically. Period. Food processing depletes nutrients found naturally in whole foods. Physical activity helps you feel healthier and maintain a fit weight. Research suggests that brisk walking can be just as good for you as an activity like jogging. Try thirty minutes of a regular physical activity like brisk walking everyday.
