It seems like everybody is looking for the fountain of youth. There is an undeniable wish among most people, especially women, to stay young and healthy and beautiful for as long as possible. Everywhere you look, there are tips and articles on this topic. But can you be young and healthy for as long as you want?

People are confused about effective ways to stay young. Is an anti aging diet the real elixir of youth? Folks are willing to fork over unlimited amounts of money in order to find out. The truth is, in order to achieve true health; we must return to nature and look to absolute fundamental healing. You do not need to waste your money on empty promises that will burn a hole in your pocket without delivering the results you want. Many untimely deaths are caused by diseases that can be avoided if you know how to live a healthy life.
Here are a few tips on how to stay young looking and how to be healthy:
  • Drink ample amounts of water – More than 70% of our body is made up of water. It is essential to our cells. Water regulates body temperature and increases blood circulation. When our body is low on water, it is like a car running out of fuel, leading to imbalances as our cardiovascular system must work harder to pump blood around the body. Drink plenty of water each day to rid your body of toxins and metabolic wastes and maintain energy levels.
  • Regular exercise – Exercise strengthens bones which helps reduce the risk of osteoporosis as we age. In our sedentary lifestyle, obesity and fatigue are common. Regular exercise and movement will help increase your energy level and alertness by sending more blood to the brain. It can also increase levels of serotonin, a chemical in the brain that stimulates a quiet and happy feeling as well as keeping stress and depression away.
  • Benefit from a hearty laugh – a good hearty laugh gives a great physical release by means of exercising our abdominals, diaphragm, and torso. It relaxes the muscles and aids our emotional, spiritual and mental health. Whenever we laugh or smile, endorphins (the natural pain killer of the body) is released and stress hormones such as cortisol are reduced. It helps to relieve stress, disease and pain. It also connects us to others in a positive way improving our social energy.
  • Adopt a positive outlook – A healthy mind and a positive attitude is the key to staying young. Negative thoughts and excessive worrying will reduce positive vibes and increase stress. Looking on the bright side of life, leads our lives into success, happiness and a healthier body and mind.
